General Terms and Conditions of the Graubündenrally


1. Registration and Binding

The Graubündenrally informs that registration is binding. In case of cancellation up to 60 days before the event, 50% of the participation fee will be refunded. For cancellations less than 60 days before the event, no refund of the participation fee will be granted. In case of cancellations within 60 days before the event, the participation fee remains fully due.


2. Postponement of the Event

The Graubündenrally reserves the right to postpone the event to another date in case of adverse weather conditions, if feasible. If this is not possible, the registration fee will not be refunded.


3. Disclaimer of Liability

The Graubündenrally is not liable for any damages to the participant's vehicles during the event, whether caused by their own fault or external influences. Furthermore, the participant is responsible for the proper condition of the vehicle. The Graubündenrally assumes no responsibility if your vehicle is immobilized due to a police control.


4. Seizure of the Vehicle

The Graubündenrally is not liable for the seizure of the vehicle by the police due to speeding, illegal modifications to the participant's vehicle, or other unforeseen events. The Graubündenrally assumes no liability for theft during the event and the tour.


5. Exclusion of Participants and Legal Measures

The Graubündenrally reserves the right to exclude participants who do not comply with traffic regulations (STVO), especially those who damage the reputation of the Graubündenrally, from the event. Furthermore, the Graubündenrally reserves the right to take legal action if the misconduct of individual participants has negative consequences.


6. Driver's License Requirement

A valid driver's license is mandatory and must be presented at the entrance control.


7. Alcohol and Drug Prohibition

A strict prohibition of alcohol and drugs applies throughout the Graubündenrally. Misconduct will result in exclusion from the event and prohibition from future events.


8. Compliance with Traffic Regulations

Throughout the entire event, participants must comply with the respective countries' traffic regulations and strictly adhere to them. Participants are liable for any fines incurred.


9. Participation at Own Risk

Participation in the Graubündenrally is at your own risk. The Graubündenrally assumes no responsibility for injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the event.


10. Vehicle Insurance

It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that their vehicle is adequately insured, including valid third-party liability insurance. The Graubündenrally assumes no liability for damages caused to the participant's vehicle or third parties.


11. Changes to the Event Program

The Graubündenrally reserves the right to change the event program, including the route, start and finish points, and planned activities for organizational reasons. Participants will be informed about such changes in a timely manner.


12. Participant Conduct

Participants are requested to act respectfully and considerately towards other participants, spectators, residents, and the environment. Any form of aggressive, offensive, or unsportsmanlike behavior is prohibited and may result in exclusion from the event.


13. Protection of Intellectual Property

Participants are prohibited from using the logo, trademarks, or other intellectual property of the Graubündenrally without prior written consent. Participants agree that photos and videos may be taken during the event, which may be used by the Graubündenrally for advertising and promotional purposes.


14. Cancellation and Refund Conditions

  • Cancellation up to 60 days before the event: 50% of the participation fee will be refunded.
  • Cancellation less than 60 days before the event: No refund of the participation fee will be granted.

15. Late Payment Reminder Fees

  • The first reminder will be issued without a fee.
  • A fee of 30 Swiss francs will be charged for the second reminder.
  • A fee of 30 Swiss francs will also be charged for each subsequent reminder.

The reminder fees are intended to cover the costs of managing and processing payment delays. It is important for participants to make their payments on time to avoid additional costs. Please note that if payment is not made following the third reminder, debt collection measures may be initiated.


16. Eligibility for Participation

Participation in the Graubündenrally is only open to adults with a valid driver's license. Minors can participate only when accompanied by a legal guardian.


17. Disclaimer of Liability for Passengers

The Graubündenrally assumes no liability for injuries, accidents, or damages incurred by passengers during the event. Passengers participate at their own risk and must obtain their own insurance in this regard.


18. Waiver of Claims for Damages

Participants expressly waive any claims for damages against the Graubündenrally, its organizers, employees, and sponsors that may arise from participating in the event.


19. Disclaimer of Liability for Event Changes

The Graubündenrally reserves the right to change or cancel the event program, route, start and finish points, and other event details due to force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances. Participants have no right to compensation or refund in such cases.


20. Consent for Use of Image and Video Material

Participants agree that images and videos of them may be taken during the event, which may be used by the Graubündenrally for advertising and promotional purposes, including publication on websites, social media, and other media channels.
